DANNY CARPER
Design Principal
August 2023 until present (2 years 4 months) - Los Angeles
Danny is currently the Design Principal at DRDS. Danny’s design philosophy pursues a sense of wonder, melding precision with poetic possibility. He envisions every project—whether a compact housing unit or a sweeping civic landmark—as a chance to spark connection, reframe context, and transform everyday moments into something extraordinary. He approaches architecture as an ever-evolving dialogue between technology and nature, where precision meets spontaneity. Danny’s works do not impose; they invite discovery. In their balance of rigor and warmth, his designs suggest a world shaped not by spectacle, but by thoughtful invention and enduring wonder. Danny’s work has been featured in the A’ Design Awards, Evolo, Archinect, Lisa Iwamoto’s Digital Fabrications, and Heather Roberge’s Fabricating Plasticity in Aluminum.
