This project is a new commercial office development for the Xiao Shan District near Hangzhou, China. The 32,020sm development site includes five office towers, green open space, a park plaza and retail support amenities. Due strict programmatic requirements, there is a 150M height limit for the main tower and 30% maximum site coverage. The design employs a varying height towers arrangement in a dramatic composition that positively impacts the skyline. The exterior skin implements intelligent building features consisting of a vertical fin shading system that mitigates heat gain on the south and west building facades.
