This flagship retail store showcases a new luxury brand of women's activewear for the client Nikibiki, a successful Los Angeles based clothing retailer. The store is located on Abbot Kinney, a famous retail street in Venice, California that is host to millions of visitors each year. The line has just been picked up by Neiman Marcus in the U.S.A AND Shinsegai, a renowned department store chain in South Korea. The project represents an adaptive re-use by way of repurposing a run-down house from the 1920's. The design team extended the interior of the house to the outside by adding 100sm of a new deck and opening up walls and a formerly enclosed front porch to connect the interior to its Southern California setting.
