This winning design for an IT Complex, in an innovative development called Digital Media City, is an information technology destination that promotes commerce, creativity, and learning for IT businesses, research scientists and the public. The complex consists of a 22 story office tower, 14 story R + D center, digital pavilion, and production studio specifically designed to exhibit, experiment and experience digital content including broadcasting, movies, games, and animation. The main tower, featuring a gentle curve, is connected to an R + D center via a cacoon=like bridge that houses a gallery for IT exhibits. The project is iconic and represents South Korea's position as a world leader in digital media technology.
