Carlson School of
Management
The project is a new school of business located on the West Bank Campus of the University of Minnesota. The design reflects a client desire to create community by emphasizing unity and interaction among building occupants. This is achieved by creating a dramatic public atrium that is connected via underground linkages to adjacent buildings on campus. Classrooms and offices embrace this public space in an elegant manner through a curvaceous building massing that breaks from campus tradition. The program consists of classrooms/technology, administration, MBA/PHD program, executive program, undergraduate studies, career centers, research centers, office clusters and common areas.
