The project is located in Bucheon City, a fast-growing region near Seoul with 1 million inhabitants. The program is comprised of a museum and office building for the Korean cartoon and animation industry. It is the largest facility of its kind worldwide. The building is a featured civic component fo the region and envisioned to promote Korea's status as a global leader in the animation industry. The design communicates the energy and movement of anime and is evocative of the cartoon and animation industry artists whose work is often sharp, angular and expressive.
